Rose in the soul
I was so small, in gloom.
They said I won't survive,
But the sunlight guided me,
And I paved my way out.
I've faced the severe winds.
I saw the sky upset.
I cried with it,
And the tears helped me to grow.
I was surrounded by weeds.
I thought I was the wretched one.
I got few thorns,
But smiled to the sun above.
I couldn't sleep at night,
In fight with my own fears,
But moon sang me lullabies
Full of tranquil hope and faith.
I looked at starry skies
And strove after the stars.
They smiled "Follow us,
We know a way to dreams."
One day a butterfly
Had kissed my leaves,
And then, I suddenly
Burned modestly with red.
I happily bloomed...
